Asiaray Media Group Limited (the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”)has recently become aware of suspected fraudulent telecommunications network activities involving the illegal development and operation of counterfeit mobile application (APP)under the name of “雅仕维传媒”. Besides, certain unidentified entities have maliciously disseminated false information on online platforms, falsely alleging that the Group’s mobile application is fraudulent tool and also engaged in misleading operations under the pretext of assisting victims in recovering funds (collectively the “Suspected Fraud”).
the Company has appointed the Shenzhen branch of Yingke Law Firm (盈科律师事务所), a law firm in Beijing, to issue a reprimand or censure in a Chinese public statement (the “Statement”).
The Company stresses that none of the Suspected Fraud is/was associated with the Group. The Company has never developed or operated any mobile application related to wealth management, “cash-back” tasks, or rebate schemes bearing the names “Asiaray”, “雅仕维传媒”or“雅仕维” or any similar variations. Furthermore, the Group has not authorised any third-party to conduct any of the aforementioned activities.
Members of the public are strongly advised to take the utmost care against telecommunications and online fraud, carefully discern the authenticity of online information and refrain from downloading any unfamiliar mobile applications from unverified sources.
