According to the announcement from The Administrative Appeals Board, the chairman, Mr. Vincent Lam has been appointed as the Panel Member of The Administrative Appeals Board by the Hong Kong Chief Executive. It will come into effect on the 15th July, 2015 with a term of three years.
The Administrative Appeals Board (“AAB”) is an independent statutory body established in July 1994. The Board will hear and determine appeals against a decision made in respect of an appellant and which falls under its jurisdiction. The Board’s jurisdiction extends over certain administrative decisions made under the Ordinances or Regulations set out in the Schedule to the AAB Ordinance.
